Carmelo Anthony says he’s healed from a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder that bothered him toward the tail end of the season.

The NBA’s leading scorer originally tweaked his shoulder April 14 against Indiana, then reaggravated it in Games 5 and 6 of New York’s postseason series against the Celtics, reporting that his left arm “popped in and out.”

The injury did not require surgery.
In 12 postseason games, Anthony averaged 28.8 points per game while shooting 40.6 percent from the field, a percentage slightly down from his season average (44.9). Carmelo Anthony connected on only 17 of his 57 attempts from behind the three-point line. The Knicks went 6-6 in the postseason.
Anthony said Saturday he hasn’t given thought to if he’ll opt out of his contract after the upcoming season in attempt for bigger money, but that he’s determined to bring the Knicks their first title since 1972-73.
