CelebNMusic247.com reports that Cardi B is now speaking out about a video started making the rounds of a live-stream she did 3 years ago.

In the video, Cardi is heard saying that she used to persuade men to join her at a hotel before drugging them and robbing them to pay for studio time.

We have seen the video and Cardi cannot deny it, because she literally says that in the video. All she can do now is apologize since its a pretty despicable behavior.

In addition to that, people have now gone so far as to compare her to Bill Cosby. They’re calling out the blatant double standard in the way the situation was handled.

Bardi admits that she’s never glorified the things she talked about during the live-stream, she was just telling her story back then.

Cardi B Comes Clean About Drugging & Robbing Men Video:

Cardi B reponed in a post on Instagram that reads as follows:

So I’m seeing on social media that a life I did 3 years ago has popped back up,” said the artist. “A live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a living. I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world with a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my shit. Im apart of a hip hop culture where you can talk about where you come from talking about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are.

She adds:

I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options. I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not. Whether or not they were poor choices at the time I did what I had to do to survive.

Despite the bad choices she made back then, Cardi B has not denied any of it.

She states:

All I can do now is be a better me for myself my family and my future.

That is something Bill Cosby NEVER did. So respect what she said, because we know a lot of the people on social media has foul pasts as well, so check yourself before checking others!
