Ben Whishaw replaces Colin Firth in ‘Paddington’
Ben Whishaw of Skyfall will replace Colin Firth as the voice of Paddington Bear in the Weinstein Company’s Paddington, based on the popular children’s book.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Firth departed the live-action/CGI-hybrid project, Paddington in June after producer David Heyman revealed that Firth’s voice was “too mature” for the part.
Parrdington’s voice needed a slightly younger voice for the beloved bear who arrives in England from Peru. Other actors adding their voice to the project are Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, and Peter Capaldi.
