CelebnMusic247.com and CelebnMovies247.com report that Alec Baldwin Prop Gun Misfire has ended in tragedy. He has been horrified at what happened on set earlier today.
According to reports, Baldwin pulled the trigger of a gun that was supposed to be filled with blanks. The gun was supposed to have fired a blank, but a post mortem examination found a .44-calibre bullet lodged near his spine.
A statement on Lee’s official Twitter account, which is run by Lee’s sister Shannon, said: “Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on ‘Rust.’
Halyna Hutchins Tragic Death Reminiscent of The Crow!
This is very reminiscent of what happened to Brandon Lee on the set of The Crow. Lee was supposed to get shot multiple times in the film but the gun that was used was filled with real bullets.
Lee died from injuries sustained and the footage was cut from the film.
Our hearts go out to the family of Halyna Hutchins and to Joel Souza and all involved in the incident on “Rust”. No one should ever be killed by a gun on a film set. Period. ?

Well, 27 years later, it has happened again. This time, director of photography Halyna Hutchins was killed but a gun that was supposed to have blanks in it.

Our sources tell us the incident happened Thursday on location in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where Alec is filming a new western he’s starring in called “Rust” at the Bonanza Creek Ranch, a movie ranch.
It’s unclear if the person who loaded the gun mistakenly placed bullets inside, or if something was lodged in the barrel that hit the director as well as the director of photography.
Our sources say the director was hit in the clavicle, but the DP wasn’t so lucky … she was airlifted and rushed to a hospital.
Souza, 48, was taken by ambulance to Christus St Vincent Regional Medical Centre, where he is undergoing treatment.
I’m so sad about losing Halyna. And so infuriated that this could happen on a set. She was a brilliant talent who was absolutely committed to art and to film. ?? pic.twitter.com/vcdFqHsGA0

Earlier Thursday, he posted a pic of himself in character on the set. After the accident, we’re told production shut down for the day.
Haylan posted this two days before the incident. Who knew this would be her last post:
