Now that Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie signed on to headline the Tonya Harding biopic I, Tonya, we’ve been curious how she will look? We just got the first images of Margot Robbie as Tonya Harding!!!
Flip and take a look at Harley Quinn aka Margot Robbie as killer ice skater Tonya Harding…
CelebNMovies247.com has your first look at Margot Robbie portraying Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, thanks to some set photos that made their way to the Today Show.
Margot Robbie has become the Michelle Pfeiffer for millennials. We are NOT taking anything away from Michelle. Robbie is that blonde bombshell who is not only gorgeous, she’s an incredible actress. She is like Meryl Streep, she knows how to lose Margot Robbie and embody who she is portraying. She was awesome in Suicide Squad, believable in Focus and great in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and The Wolf of Wall Street.
The Hollywood Reporter’s describes the plot:
The film from director Craig Gillespie will chronicle the events leading up to the infamous scandal, when Olympian figure skater Nancy Kerrigan was attacked by a man who struck her a few inches above the knee at the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. The attack was traced back to Harding’s ex-husband, Jeff Gillooly (to be played by Sebastian Stan), and her bodyguard, Shawn Eckhardt.
I, Tonya is shooting now. We are looking forward to a trailer, but that will be a few months out. Fingers crossed for a Coen Brothers-style dark crime-comedy!

Robbie’s upcoming projects include; Gotham City Sirens, Terminal, Larrikins and Peter Rabbit…
