The social media star and budding rapper, Cardi B has become a fan favorite on the VH1 reality television series, Love & Hip Hop: New York. But she’s moving on to bigger things, like Being Mary Jane on BET.

Cardi B posted an Instagram Live photo explaining that she’s moving on from the show to focus on her music career. B reassures her LHH fans that there’s no bad blood for the decision.

She still loves Mona Scott-Young and everything that she has done for her, but its time to move on. Cardi was one of the standout members of the cast and her brash, outspoken nature made her a fan favorite.

Cardi says that she just wants to put all of her focus in 2017 on her own business. She also said that she won’t have time to film Love & Hip Hop 8 in the summer, after they wrap the reunion show.

In fact, a little birdy leaked that Cardi B landed herself a recurring role on BET’s Gabrielle Union Being Mary Jane.

If the news is true, then we say go Cardi B. We understand that you have to break when the getting is good in entertainment. If she feels this is the right time, then go for it. We just hope that she doesn’t end up like many LHH cast members who have gone back under the radar. And fans are saying who again?
