Cameras down, houses done, championship belt: TBD. The Flip Off Season 2 has officially wrapped filming, per TV Insider — Christina Haack marked the final day in an Instagram post on Wednesday, October 21, sharing a photo of herself with her boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, and writing: “And… that’s a wrap. After a flip and a show and even during retrograde — I love you more @cml949.” The season now moves into post-production, where the footage gets edited into episodes.
Larocca answered in the comments with the teaser fans were hoping for, per TV Insider: “What a wild season! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of all of it! Flipping a house definitely brought us closer. And you look great in that dress. Love you.” Haack previously told Entertainment Tonight, back in March, only that he would “be involved a little bit” — a wild season and a flipped house reads considerably more than a little bit. The wrap photo doubles as our tracker’s latest verification: Christina Haack and Christopher Larocca, still very much together, verified this week against their own posts.

The longest flip on HGTV
This wrap has been a long time coming. Per TV Insider, filming began in September 2025 — more than a year of production — and Heather Rae El Moussa explained the pacing back in July: because the teams are genuinely flipping houses, production sometimes takes “a little, tiny hiatus and let the house catch up,” since construction runs on construction time, not TV time.
Heather marked the wrap herself on Thursday, October 22, per TV Insider, posting behind-the-scenes video of her and Tarek El Moussa arriving on set — with Tarek carrying the Season 1 championship belt over his shoulder. Read that two ways: defending champions arriving with their hardware, or a misdirect designed to make you wonder whether the belt changes hands. Heather has also promised, since an August fan Q&A, that she and Christina are NOT teaming up this season and that a “major twist” none of them saw coming is baked into Season 2. The belt’s final owner stays in the edit bay with everything else.
The part where we do not invent a date
Now the standing rule, printed plainly because this is where other coverage gets sloppy: HGTV has announced no premiere date for The Flip Off Season 2. Not a month, not a window, not a “coming soon” with a date attached. Wrapped filming means the season exists and is being edited — nothing more. Our HGTV tracker moves the show from FILMING to WRAPPED / IN POST-PRODUCTION, and its premiere entry stays exactly where it has always been: unannounced. When HGTV announces a date, it goes on the board and in a post the same day — sourced to HGTV, not to a guess.
Season 1, for the record, ended with Tarek and Heather taking the win on return-on-investment after Christina finished the competition solo following her split from Josh Hall mid-season. Season 2 gives her a partner, a twist and a year of footage to settle it.
The 247 Take — A year of filming, a boyfriend promoted from “involved a little bit” to flipping partner, a championship belt doing pre-season psyops in a parking lot — Season 2 already has its storylines before a single episode is cut. The only thing it does not have is a premiere date, and around here that gets announced by HGTV or it doesn’t get printed. Wrapped, in post, and worth the wait.
