CelebnMusic247.com and CelebnHealth247.com reports that “Leave It to Beaver” star Tony Dow son Christopher confirmed that his dad had passed away on Wednesday morning.
On Tuesday afternoon, Tony Dow’s wife told TMZ that she “believed her husband was dead” and told his management team who announced his passing on his official Facebook account. The wife, Lauren, said as of Tuesday afternoon, he is “still alive and breathing while in hospice care” and she’s “distraught” over the error. The Facebook post has since been taken down.
a statement posted to his Facebook page read:
We have received confirmation from Christopher, Tony’s son, that Tony passed away earlier this morning, with his loving family at his side to see him through this journey.
The statement continued:
We know that the world is collectively saddened by the loss of this incredible man. He gave so much to us all and was loved by so many. One fan said it best—’It is rare when there is a person who is so universally loved like Tony.’
His son shared mourned the loss of his dad, calling it a “very sad day.”
