CelebnMusic247.com reports that ‘Gorilla Glue Girl’ Tessica Brown hair on her head was saved by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Michael Obeng.
Brown got into the sticky situation after smearing the adhesive on her scalp after running out of hairspray — saying she thought it would just wash out.
She was conflicted and scared so Tessica Brown ended up posting the saga online, saying she grew desperate for a solution after trying olive oil, tea tree oil and other concoctions — until a doctor came to the rescue.
Thankfully, after her TikTok went viral she was flooded with support. Tessica aka ‘Gorilla Glue Girl’ was able to get a surgery performed by Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Michael Obeng, who offered to do the $12,500 procedure for free.
Today, Tessica Brown can finally run her finger through her hair again.
It was the first time in more than a month after emerging from the four-hour procedure.
In the video you can hear a voice asking:
How’s it feel like to feel your hair like that again?
Brown says:
Now I wish I would’ve waited to cut my ponytail off. It’s over. Over…Over.
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Michael Obeng said:
Initially, I thought it was a joke, but my office said, ‘Hey, can you remove Gorilla Glue from somebody’s scalp?’. I said, of course. I looked up the compound … and we figure out the science, how to break it down.
What did Dr. Michael Obeng use?
Dr. Obeng broke down his secret recipe for us, explaining it was all just basic chemistry. We’re no scientists, so watch the video for his explanation — but in a nutshell, he combined medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil and a dash of acetone. – reports TMZ
