President Obama Says Sony Made The Wrong Call!!!

This morning President Obama just threw down the gauntlet Saying that the heads over at Sony Made The Wrong Call pulling “The Interview.”

CelebNMusic247.com has just learned via the President’s Special Report where he touched on a bunch of topics including the much talked about “The Interview” and Sony Hack.

It was inevitable that someone would ask Obama about the Sony mess at Friday’s news conference and Obama didn’t mince words. He wished out loud that Sony would have called him before making the call to yank the film.

The President’s words are likely to cause major grief at the Sony lot … especially with Sony pictures Chief Amy Pascal. It’s a one-two punch … the first at the hands of George Clooney.

King LeBron James Makes Royal Fumble

King LeBron James Makes Royal Fumble!!!

The Cleveland Cavaliers may have their King back at home, but in England he’s no King and now the NBA star LeBron James Makes Royal Fumble.

It’s great to meet that royal couple as they made their rounds for three days in the Big Apple, but when you meet them, it’s etiquette NOT to touch them. They’re Royals!

[rpi]

Now CelebNMusic247.com has learned that King LeBron is getting a royal lashing by the British media for putting his arm around Kate Middleton in a photo-op after the Cavaliers beat the Nets on Monday night.

Sweaty armpit and all. The sad this is Kate Middleton is leaning away from LeBron, but politely saying nothing.

Here is the tea that is spilling all over the place in the land of the royals:

Minutes after LeBron James scored 18 points in the Cavs 110 to 88 victory over the Brooklyn Nets, he took several pictures with the royal couple.

James was still wearing his sweaty Cavs t-shirt when he wrapped his arm around the Duchess breaking royal protocol. The sign of affection is a breach of proper etiquette.

Let’s be real, LeBron should have been schooled by his publicist NOT to touch them and how to properly meet royalty. We may be all hugs in the US, but NOT in the UK, this is a sign of disrespect, but LeBron didn’t know, so we don’t blame him for his fumble. Hopefully he will learn and NEVER do it again, because the UK is having a field day with this. (shaking our heads)

Jason Collins Announces Retirement!!!

The NBA’s first openly gay player, Jason Collins, has announced retirement from the NBA after the Brooklyn Nets didn’t pick this season.

On Wednesday Collins made the announcement at the Barclay’s Center before the Bucks vs. Nets game, CelebNMusic247.com has learned.

The veteran center wrote a piece for Derek Jeter‘s ‘The Player’s Tribune,’ discussing his decision.

Collins wrote on ThePlayersTribune.com:

“In order to understand why I am so lucky to be sitting here today as a person who is finally comfortable in his own skin, you need to understand how basketball saved me.,”

“I needed to live the past few years as an openly gay basketball player in order to be at peace retiring today.”

“There are so many people I have to thank for helping me on my journey,” Collins wrote on ThePlayersTribune.com. “My family, friends, and fans empower me each and every day. My teammates, coaches, and the Brooklyn Nets organization gave me an opportunity. The entire NBA family, where the leadership of David Stern and Adam Silver created an environment that made me feel safe to step forward. My agent, Arn Tellem, who is like the cool uncle everyone wishes they had. All the fans in New York who would see me walking on the street and say, ‘Hey Collins, good luck tonight!’ or ‘We are proud of you!’ To all the people who came out before me and helped clear the path for others to follow. And the many countless individuals who have fought and sacrificed for human and civil rights, period. Thank you.”

Collins will continue to be an advocate for gay professional athletes across all platforms until they are no longer living in fear of being shunned by teammates, fans, and the media.
