Still reigning as one of the best rock bands ever to see live, Limp Bizkit took stage West headlining day one of the Monster Energy‘s Aftershock Fest 2014!
Bizkit didn’t disappoint as Sam Rivers and a friend of the band kicked off the show in a jock strap, while humping a guitar. However, it was far from Limp when Durst hit the stage with his more mature bearded look.
In true rock fashion and hardcore Limp Bizkit manor, Fred, Sam, Wes Borland and John Otto took their positions and started making fans go wild like they always do.
From girls throwing panties for Fred to sniff, to bodies being hurled in the air, Limp Bizkit created rock mayhem and shook the Aftershock fest harder, wilder and crazier than any band yesterday. There were some great moments with Butcher Babies, Black Label Society, Emmure and Tech N9ne coming in with a close second on the wildest parties of the day, but hands down Limp Bizkit reigned supreme.
Wes Borland came dressed in a latex body suit accompanied with a full head mask strapped and tied as seen below:
They killed it, playing for their 1 hour and 20 minute set covering all the hits; “Rollin,” “Break Stuff,” “Nookie,” “My Generation,” “My Way,’Take A Look Around,” “Faith,” and more.
Fred jump kicked it up a notch jumping into the crowd, making fans go balistic to touch Durst and be up close and person to the over 19,000 fans crowding to see Limp Bizkit tear up at Aftershock. Durst even made his way through the 5 mosh pitts to get over to the handicap riser to hangout. No there was no chair throwing or typical mayhem that Limp Bizkit used to bring in the early days, but they’re still on top of their game. They are true performers, and an excellent rock band to see. They made CelebNMusic247.com day 1 journey complete.
Especially after dealing with sweltering heat in the state capital of California. We wanna give a big shout out the Medi tent for taking care of our photographer who got heat stroke. We wanna give a big shout out to Paul for bringing him back to life to make it to see Bizkit. Thank you to Kristine for taking care of everything for us, we give her and her team a HUGE standing ovation.
