Aftershock Fest 2014 Burns Through Day 1

Aftershock Fest 2014, the biggest rock concert on the West Coast, kicked off a banging day 1 with fans from all over who bared the sweltering heat to see some of rock finest.

If you wanted a hot summer day followed by a hot summer night then Aftershock brought it. Not only was blazing under the sun, more than 25 bands ripped, shredded and tore up each of the 4 stage that Monster provided for bands like Back Label Society, Bad Religion, Fuel, Eyes Set to Kill, Emmure, Butcher Babies, HellYeah, Nothing More, Pepper,  Chevelle, Awolnation, Limp Bizkit, The OffSpring, Weezer and Tech N9ne.

Temperatures hit the 100’s yesterday and are ready to do it again at Discovery Park in Sacramento. 23 bands have already hit the stage and bared the heat like many of the concert goers, but it was worth it to see Limp Bizkit tearing it up, The Offspring making fans go wild, Black Label Society bringing the heavy metal, Bad Religion for bringing the rock, and Emmure and Butcher Babies creating mosh pit pandemonium.

While Pepper kept things a cool breezy islander feel that was great for chilling, Weezer brought fans alternative, and Tech N9ne gave hip hop rock fusion like no other.

Day 1 of Aftershock was incredible, the heat a bit unbearable, but mix it together and you have an end of summer festival that ROCKS like no other.

If you missed the 2014 Aftershock Fest, then get to saving your coins this year, for 2015 which we hear is going to be bigger and better.

The two-day Aftershock music festival at Sacramento’s Discovery Park this continues afternoon (Sunday), so we will keep you posted.
