Carrie-Anne Moss Is Harper In Jessica Jones!!!

The “Matrix” veteran Carrie-Anne Moss has landed a new gig on Netflix called Jessica Jones, and now we learned Carrie-Anne Moss Is Harper In Jessica Jones.

Harper aka Moss will be one of the people on Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) team that helps her solve crimes.

The news was revealed at today at New York Comic Con, Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb revealed Moss portrays a gender-swapped version of Jeryn Hogarth, a longtime ally of Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist.

Introduced by Marvel Comics in 1976, Hogarth is a brilliant lawyer and businessman who worked for Danny’s father Wendall Rand. He’s long served as legal counsel for Danny, and was the business manager and part owner of Heroes for Hire.

Although details of the role weren’t revealed this afternoon at the Marvel/Netflix presentation, Moss said:

“Every one of these scripts, at some point I went ‘Oh, my God, I can’t believe that just happened.’ It’s rare for me because I read a lot of scripts and I’m rarely surprised. The writing is impeccable.”

“Jessica Jones” premieres Nov. 20 on Netflix.
