(CelebNMusic247-News) Zac Efron Confirms Role to Star Wars Episode VII
It’s true, Zac Efron has confirmed reports linking him to a role in Star Wars Episode VII.
The Awkward Moment star was touted for a role in the Disney film last year, along with the likes of Ryan Gosling and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Now the 26-year-old actor reveals to MTV about the possibility of starring in the JJ Abrams-directed film.
Zac Efron said:
“Yeah, I just went and met with them. So I don’t know. It would be cool. I love [the Star Wars movies], I love them, but… who knows?”
Abrams recently revealed that the film’s script is now complete, adding that his team are in “deep prep” for the film, which will be released in 2015.
Abrams said.
“We’re working really hard and we’ve got our script and we’re in deep prep.”
“Full steam ahead.”
When asked about the length of Star Wars 7, the television producer declined to go into detail, adding:
“I promise you it will be movie length.”
JJ took the librity to reveal that he has spoken with Breaking Bad actor Jesse Plemons about a role in Episode VII.
Zac Efron can now be added to the list of menMichael Fassbender, Hugo Weaving and Adam Driver are the most recent stars to be linked to Star Wars.
Star Wars Episode VII is scheduled for a December 18, 2015 cinema release.
