Steven Cravotta donates $50k to BOOST! West Oakland – Wordle is the most popular puzzle game on the internet right now, and was recently acquired by The New York Times for an undisclosed amount in the seven-figure price range.
It’s a web-only game, so when 50,000 people downloaded “Wordle!” over five days, developer Steven Cravotta was shocked and surprised…
CelebnMusic247.com reports that Cravotta realized that the app he made years ago was getting confused with the viral online game created by Josh Wardle.

Donate of course!
The 24-year-old entrepreneur/web developer took his iOS App profits to BOOST! West Oakland — a charity providing free tutoring and mentoring to youths in the Oakland area on February 24, 2022 at 3:30 pm at the West Oakland Public Library.
About an hour prior, Steven found out that Josh Wardle the creator of Wordle desktop version matched his donation to the charity as well. This was an incredible surprise and tremendous blessing to Boost!
Boost is extremely excited about this donation and are now able to expand their program and be able to help more kids with greater opportunities. Steven got to meet a child the organization sponsors on site of the donation ceremony, and the people that work with Boost.
Cravotta thrives on the challenge of solving real-world problems in a way that is both meaningful and fun.
