Paramount Announced The “Terminator” is coming back to the big screen and the rumors have already started.
Although, Paramount is keeping tight lipped about The Terminator Reboot and on whether Arnold Schwarzenegger would play a role, there are already insider talk that The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson is already planned to be in the new movie.
On Thursday (June 27), Paramount announced that it is rebooting the “Terminator” franchise and planning for a new trilogy of films.
We’ve put our feelers out to confirm if Johnson will indeed be in the upcoming reboot taking over Arnold iconic role or will The Rock battle Arnold?
Schwarzenegger starred as the title character in the original 1984 movie. It spawned a trilogy that earned more than $1 billion at the box office worldwide.
Here is what insider have leaked on T5:
The source of this rumor comes courtesy of the WWE Examiner (via AICN), which reports that one version of the script for Terminator 5 is being developed specifically for Johnson. Moreover, the Examiner’s source adds that one rumored plot for T5 would make the film a prequel.
We hope they move forward with T5 and don’t go back to the beginning of the franchise. We don’t want to see it start over we want to know what happens next or what happened before.
Paramount says it will release the new “Terminator” in July 2015.
