(CelebNMusic247-News) Why Rebel Wilson Became an Actress?
Pain & Gain star Rebel Wilson was on The View this morning (April 29) to talk about her new role in Pain Gain and how it was to work with Anthony Mackie, Mark Wahlberg, and Dwayne Johnson.
She said it was like being in an ice cream shop. Sounds yummy right?
Well, Rebel went on to say why she became and actress and how she waited outside til midnight just to meet Whoopi Goldberg.
Rebel told the ladies of The View:
“I always thought I’d go into serious stuff like law or politics.”
“When I graduated school I became a youth ambassador and was stationed in South Africa for a year to spread goodwill across the continent. I got malaria and was put in intensive care, where the doctors gave me a cocktail of drugs so I wouldn’t die. I hallucinated that I was at the Oscars and won. It was so real that when I came out of hospital I said, ‘I know this is crazy, but I’m going to become an actress!’“
Prior to The Views interview with Rebel, she also told Us Weekly the same thing about wanting to become and actress last year.
