Warren Sapp raised eyebrows this week when he argued that Giants legend Michael Strahan didn’t deserve a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, based on his résumé.
Upon hearing the news, Strahan fired back, calling Sapp a “coward.” The argument quickly turned personal, and Sapp didn’t back down.
“He took it to a level that it didn’t need to be,” Sapp said. “I was just talking about his resume. I didn’t say anything about his gap tooth or his S words or his F words that I don’t understand.”
The two men have since made peace. Strahan was one of seven players elected into the Hall Saturday, and Sapp was in New York to congratulate him with a big hug.
