VH1 Cancels Single Ladies
After three seasons of Single Ladies Vh1 has given the Queen Latifah produced series the Axe!
It’s frustrating because this season of Single Ladies was really starting to get juicy and with new additions like LaToya Luckett and the wicked boss in the music game and Damon Wayans Jr the show was really getting good.
Unfotunately CelebNMusic247.com has gotten word that TV executives have decided to pull the plug on the Queen Latifah-produced drama which stars LisaRaye, Charity Shea and Denise Vasi.
There is no word on why the network’s first scripted series won’t continue, but VH1 leaves us hopeful that we’ll see at least one of the three ladies back on TV soon.
The VH1 network released the following statement:
“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies. Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”
