CelebNMusic247.com reports that Usher’s lead herpes accuser Laura Helm filed to dismiss her suit earlier this week because she and Usher have “reached an amicable resolution.”

According to reports, Usher was sued by the woman, Laura Helm, for infecting the woman with the chronic disease.

Now, Usher and his accuser, Laura Helm, have reached a resolution but attorneys for both sides would only repeat that word … “amicable.”

TMZ reports the dismissal was filed with prejudice … meaning it can’t be refiled, and that’s typically done when there’s been a financial settlement.

Helm sued the singer back in 2017. She claimed that he had exposed her to the virus when they had unprotected sex. She initially sued for $10 million, then upped it to $20 mil for emotional harm and punitive damages.

Laura’s case was damaged recently when a former friend released a recording which purported to show that she and Usher always used protection when having s*x.

In addition to that, Laura, a New Orleans jazz musician, was secretly recorded telling a friend named Dennis Byron that she had no plans to sue Usher after finding out he allegedly has herpes. Laura reportedly said she wasn’t worried about getting the virus as Usher had always worn protection, seemingly contradicting her claims in court documents.

Laura’s attorney Lisa West fought back against the recording, trying to spin it that Laura only changed her story because she thought Byron was trying to sell the story to the media.

At the end of the day, the lawsuit is over and done.
