Ultraviolet Supports Spotify New Privacy Policy that Violates 1st Amendment

A women’s advocacy group by the name of Ultraviolet wants Spotify to take action against other artists who have been accused of sexual misconduct.

Read on to see who Ultraviolet wants Spotify to take action against because music lovers are going to lose a lot of great music…

Ultraviolet Supports Spotify New Privacy Policy that Violates 1st AmendmentCelebNMusic247.com has the latest artist being targeted by women’s advocacy group Ultraviolet whose executive director Shaunna Thomas has written an open letter requests that the streaming service remove more artists.

Do they NOT realized that Spotify is violating the 1st Amendment? #FreeSpeech #FreeExpresion

The list of artists (ALL MEN) includes Chris Brown, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nelly, Eminem, and others.

Thomas letter, which The JasmineBRAND first published, reads as follows:

Every time a famous individual continues to be glorified despite allegations of abuse, we wrongly perpetuate silence by showing survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence that there will be no consequences for abuse. That has a cultural effect far beyond one individual artist.

Does it?

We previously reported that R Kelly and XXXTentacion music has been removed. However, the advocacy group wants more heads to roll via the hand of Spotify’s new policy

….which, “is following the lead of Black women who demanded that these two men, who have sexually and physically abused women for years, not be promoted and celebrated.”

OMG! Have we fallen back into the 50s Spotify? Should we start segragating music next?

This is ridiculous! No one is perfect, but some of these groups are really taking things to far.

What is BS about all of this is that most of the “sexual assaults” to women happened because the individual was trying to hook up with the artist. Rather them be a groupie, fan, or female artist trying to make it. If you are THIRSTY for whatever than it is also the individuals objective to learn the words NO. Many of these cases claim they said “no” at the time, but most women were there for the very reason to hook up with their favorite artist. Now, some of the same women are claiming sexual assault?

We’re NOT buying any of this.
