(CelebNMusic247-News) Twilight Breaking Dawn 2 Sweeps Razzies
Well Twilight may not have been good enough for an Oscar nomination during its 5 movie run, but it did make loads of money in the box office. However, the final installment of the vampire/werewolf franchise did find gold at this years Razzies, thanks to Kristen, Taylor, Mackenzie and director Bill Condon.
While the Academy Awards are bout to dub the best films, actors, and overall most creative talent in Hollywood are recognized for their contributions to the industry, that the WORST are also given their moment to shine!
Which leads us to this news that at last night’s 2013 33rd Annual Razzie Awards, it was The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 that took home ALMOST ALL the awards at the ceremony!
Who were the lucky recipients of the supreme honor, you may ask?
Kristen Stewart took home “Worst Actress,”
Taylor Lautnerwon “Worst Supporting Actor!”
Lautner also managed to snag himself a duel award with Mackenzie Foy for “Worst Screen Couple” AND “Worst Screen Ensemble!”
Bill Condon was named “Worst Director!”
Unfortuntely, Breaking Dawn – Part 2 didn’t accomplish what Adam Sandler’s Jack & Jill managed to last year by winning in EVERY category, as the comedian himself managed to secure the “Worst Screenplay” award for That’s My Boy.
Taking home the awarded for “Worst Supporting Actress” for her big-screen debut in the equally-terrible Battleship, goes to Rihanna!
Breaking Dawn also nabbed the win for “Worst Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel” and “Worst Screen Ensemble.”
