CelebNMusic247.com reports that 50 Cent turned Trump because “not all money is good money,” and that he didn’t know how “fix the damage.”
Trump was trying to do whatever he could to win over the black community, so he was willing to pay big bucks for rappers like 50 Cent to appear like he was supporting the President.
In case you don’t recall, Trump had difficulty securing the votes of black Americans, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody, and he wanted to boost his support numbers by bringing a few well-known faces in the rap world to his inauguration.
It almost makes you wonder if Kanye West is collecting checks showing support for Trump?
During an appearance on James Corden’s late night show, 50 Cent said that he was offered half of a million dollars just to appear in the crowd.
50 revealed that he wasn’t asked to perform or anything. Trump told him all he needs to d to secure a bag is show up.
Fiddy replied:
I didn’t do it because I didn’t know if I could fix the damage.
Anyways, 50 Cent turned down Trump stating:
To be honest with you, all money is not good money. You gotta be careful what you’re doing publicly because I don’t know how you fix that.
Then, the rapper offered some political advice to Senator Elizabeth Warren on how to reach young voters. He told her to just relax and when she becomes President, hang out with him.
