Last year, Drake graced the cover of GQ‘s style issue in a Calvin Klein suit. The fashion forward Atlanta rapper Trinidad James is taking his unique style to men’s fashion authority GQ, gracing the pages of the magazine’s new Style Issue.
The “All Gold Everything” rapper shares a photo spread with designer Michael Bastian.
James says in the magazine:
“For me, it’s all about the aura of Versace. I was born in the 80s, so my mind was captivated by 90s fashion-i.e. Versace shirts, slippers and gold jewelry.”
“My dad wore Versace and gold. That never left me.”

Trinidad James burst onto the scene with his viral sensation “All Gold Everything” last year and dropped his Don’t Be S.A.F.E. mixtape. He made an appearance at the recent mtvU Woodie Awards at SXSW alongside Pusha T and Joey Bada$$. “Who smoking that loud out here, man?” Trinidad asked the throng during his set. “I smell it!”
The three will headline MTV’s “Jams Live Weekend.” The hip-hop block will include performances, never-before-seen backstage footage, exclusive interviews and performer-hosted playlists of their favorite MTV live hip-hop performances.
“Jams Live Weekend” will kick off on Saturday at 6 a.m. ET and wrap up on Monday at 6 a.m. ET.
