Trick Daddy Says ‘The Rap Game Left Me’!!!

When you think Trick Daddy, one thing comes to mind is Trick Loves the kids, but these days he’s become yesterday’s news, but Trick Daddy Says ‘The Rap Game Left Me’.

The dirty south rapper, Trick Daddy Weighs In On State of Hip Hop.

Trick Daddy, 41, recently sat down with the Miami New Times to discuss his relationship to the current rap landscape. He didn’t mince words.

KingDingaLing aka Trick weighed in on the current state of Hip Hop, saying:

“All of them rap about the same thing.”

“Take all their a cappellas, and you could put it on a long beat and just keep dropping in verses and all of them gonna fit, because the wack new producers mimic beats. They build beats off other beats. That’s why they sound so much alike.”

“People be like, ‘Trick, why did you leave the rap game?’ I didn’t leave the rap game; the rap game left me. I’ve been dealing with a lot of different issues — the lupus, the IRS, along with just family problems — and now I’m getting all that together.”

He was arrested and charged with multiple felonies around this time last year. He is determined to get back in the game sooner rather than later and show the youngins how rap music is really done.

Maurice Young best known as Trick Daddy added:

“I have to go back to this music; I have to give them something.”

“I won’t tell them no lie, and when I tell them, they’re going to believe me.”
