Drake’s courtside antics during the NBA Eastern Conference made headlines across the world and Drake has been unapologetic about it.
Now, a loyal native of the Bay Area and hip hop icon Too Short is weighing in on Drizzy Drake and his courtside manner. Read on to get more on Too Short using Drake NBA finals trash talk…
CelebNMusic247.com reports that Oakland native Too Short is ready and waiting on Drake to sound off during the NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors.
According to Too Short, born Todd Shaw, is seemingly encouraging Drake’s said behavior because he plans on using any sound bite of Drake talking sh*t during the Raptors vs. Warriors and use it for an upcoming song.
Short said:
We’ve had a meeting about this. What we’re gonna do is, we’re gonna watch Drake. We’re gonna record every little bit of tape of Drake [during the NBA Finals]. Every word he says, we’re gonna make a song with those words.
The 53-year-old rapper who performed at BottleRock Napa 2019 adds:
It’s gonna be called ‘Drake Losing to the Warriors.’
Other Oakland natives who have called out Drake in the past include Smash Mouth (the group that made “All Star”) and E-40.
The Warriors play the Raptors for Game 1 of the NBA Finals tomorrow at 9 p.m.
We can’t wait to hear Too Short’s new music with Drake soundbites.
