Tone Loc Detained by Police Over Confederate Flag Argument

We don’t know the whole story as of now, but hip hop veteran Tone Loc found himself in a Texas jail after he got into a heated argument with two white people over the Confederate flag.

Now we understand Tone Loc‘s position on this, but its a free country and white trash people can wear Confederate flag shirts + hats if they want, but they need to keep their 2 cent comments to themselves. Read on…

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Tone Loc was caught on video by an anonymous witness getting into it with several people at Midland International Air & Space Port before being handcuffed by security.

As we said, we don’t know what sparked the heated argument outside at the curbside waiting for a pickup, but Tone Loc, born Anthony Terrell Smith, found himself locked up while the white people were left alone.

The video shows the rapper and others shouting and swearing at each other and was herd to repeatedly say “F— your Confederate s—.”

Why Tone Loc Got Detained by Police:

The incident happened on Saturday according to CBS7 which reported that the witness said the incident started when Tone Loc, 53, got upset by a teenage boy for wearing a hat with a Confederate flag.

According to CBS7, the boy confronted Tone, so that is what upset the rapper. We only see Tone Loc in a verbal face-off with a man and woman the witness said are the boy’s parents who defended their son saying he can wear whatever he wants.

Shortly after the fight escalated, Midland, Texas police arrived and immediately handcuffed Tone Loc. A spokesperson for the City of Midland said the rapper was detained, but not arrested.

Tone Loc is currently touring and future performances will take place with Coolio, Young MC, Color Me Badd, MC Hammer, and 2 Live Crew.

What sucks is the white family was attacking Tone, but he got detained? Its racist and BS!
