Cheech and Chong’s Tommy Chong Diagnosed with Rectal Cancer, but the actor/writer Tommy is keeping a positive outlook on the Rectal Cancer Diagnosis.
CelebNMuisc247.com has this report on Tommy Chong who was previously diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012, when he was public about using marijuana as a way to treat the disease.
Chong told Us Weekly:
“I’m in treatment now.”
Chong also admitted that he’s smoking marijuana now more than ever, saying:
“Either I get healed, or I don’t. But either way, I’m going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up.”

Chong, who participated in Dancing With The Stars this past season and holds the title of the oldest contestant to make it to the semi-finals, he tweeted the news himself.
He also told fans that he would do his best to keep them updated on his progress via the Cheech and Chong podcast.
Here is what the 76-year-old star confirmed the diagnosis to Access Hollywood on Friday morning.
Tommy explained that his wife is refusing to let him die and that he is stage 1 cancer.

Chong is currently writing a sequel to Up In Smoke which his screen 30 years ago. He says that He and Cheech will both reprise their roles as Cheech & Chong.
