One fan kicked off a berage of hate Tweets after one fan who sounded off about wanting their $5 dollars back after they made $430k from a kickstarter campaign in just 30-days. They claimed that they weren’t working on the their final album without label assistance.
If you remember the remaining TLC duo initially sought $150,000 but ended up surpassing their goals with a shocking $430,000 from fans who graciously supported their project, which they planned to release by early September and mid-October 2015.
Well the now that the album is NOT out, fans are FIRING SHOTS at T-Boz and Chilli calling them fraudulent artists!
T-Boz responded yesterday to the backlash calling out the black community for being the only ones SLAMMING them.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned via T-Boz, who called in to The Rickey Smiley Show to clear things up and assure fans that they did not get robbed.
When T-Boz advised the fan to “Call Kickstarter and tell em yo give it bk”(Got emm), people believed the group scammed everyone.
T-Boz explained on The Rickey Smiley Show that the album is still on the way, and that they have been weekly updating all donors since the beginning.
She also called out some of her followers for NOT doing the proper research. The latest update on the Kickstarter site states that the album will be done sometime in 2016. No pressure, but we’re hoping the album doesn’t get pushed back anymore.

She posted this update on their Kickstarter page back in September about the upcoming album:
“Hey TLC fans!
After seeing and greeting so many of you on our tour this summer, we took a short break and now we are in the studio recording our new album with Ron Fair, coming out in 2016. The music is coming out great and it’s only with your support of TLC on Kickstarter that this is possible. We thank you and promise that we will continue rolling out all the Kickstarter prizes except the album by mid-October. We are moving the album back to 2016, so that we will have more time to finish the record the TLC way. Thanks as always for your love and support and we can’t wait to deliver a new record and tour next year.”
