The Titans tight end didn’t target an opposing player, but rather a Ravens assistant coach standing innocently on the sideline. FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer revealed video footage Sunday of Coffman going out of his way to level an unidentified assistant with a forearm hit after Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger was intercepted.
According to Glazer, Coffman was fined $30,000 by the NFL for the unnecessary shot.
Rather than remain on the field and chase the intercepting player, Coffman ran out of bounds and delivered the shocking blow.

The Ravens were displeased with the incident, which the Titans described as an “accident.”
