Joan went on to say that she lived a very full life and that Melissa was an amazing daughter. She said that she did NOT want Melissa to be sad because she has lived a very full life. Joan is a tremendous woman as she has overcome adversity, heartbreak, tragedy and career barrierers. She reinvented herself and bounced back to create her $150 million dollar empire.
Joan has always been a ground breaking comedian pushing the envelope and NEVER caring what people thought because that was her job as a comedian. Love her or hate her, Joan Rivers was the True Queen of Comedy, always humble, there for her family and friends and made sure if you were watching her on TV, stage or being pressed by paparazzi she made you laugh.
When it comes to comedy Joan motto was:

One of our favorite classic moments is when she called Kevin Costner a tool for being cheap when buying his now wife her engagement ring. Hopefully her daughter, Melissa can bring the sassiness this year in honor of her mother. Maybe she can enlist Kathy Griffin the only female comedian that brings it like Joan and if not Kathy then Sara Silverman.
As for Twitter Joan was always current and new how to make her point, like when she weighed in on Rihanna and the Chris Brown fight. She was trying to school RiRi, saying:
Which leads us to Joan’s raw wit and realness on Twitter.
When she was asked “Have you always been funny?” Joan replied, “I knew I was funny, and I knew it was powerful.” She was 100% right and we love her for it.
