‘The Talk’ Cancels Shows Amid Investigation Surrounding Sharon Osbourne

‘The Talk’ On Hiatus Amid Investigation Surrounding Sharon Osbourne!

The way Sharon Osbourne acted towards Sheryl Underwood was completely unacceptable!

Once again we want to point out that White privilege plays a big part in the investigation surrounding Sharon Osbourne. The reason why we are saying this is simple, if it was Sheryl Underwood, The Talk would have given her walking papers and found a replacement.

Well, CelebnMusic247.com has just learned that “The Talk” will go on a brief hiatus, canceling its live shows for Monday and Tuesday.

The news comes after CBS announced that it would be launching a probe into an episode earlier this week that saw Sharon Osbourne get into a heated exchange with co-host Sheryl Underwood.

Could this mean that Sheryl Underwood’s job is in jeopardy for questioning Sharon Osbourne?

See, Sheryl Underwood just wanted to talk to Sharon and understand her thought process and views on Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle.

Sharon accused Sheryl that she was being ambushed and she should be the one crying, not Sheryl. Sharon also was clueless about her behavior and racist viewpoints. Sheryl was only trying to educate Osbourne, but it all went really left. – Variety

How the Sharon Osbourne / Sheryl Underwood Heated Exchange played out:

Osbourne said:

Did I like everything he said? Did I agree with what he said? No. Because it’s his opinion. It’s not my opinion… I support him for his freedom of speech, and he’s my friend.

Sharon got defensive saying:

I’m not racist… I don’t care what color or what religion anyone is. Are you a nice person? That’s what I judge you on.

In response, Underwood asked:

What would you say to people who may feel that while you’re standing by your friend, it appears you gave validation or safe haven to something that he has uttered that is racist, even if you don’t agree? Am I saying it right?

Educate me, tell me when you have heard him say racist things?

Osbourne replied:

I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist?

Osbourne tweeted an apology on Thursday:

The plan is currently to return to filming on Wednesday, a source says, but the show will evaluate and see where they are before moving forward. CBS declined to comment and pointed to its earlier statement on its investigation on Friday.

The network said in its earlier statement:

We are committed to a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace. All matters related to the Wednesday episode of ‘The Talk’ are currently under internal review.

To be honest, Sharon is the one who needs to be respectful. She was so rude to Sheryl on Wednesday’s episode. She claimed to Variety that she felt “blind-sided” – she just didn’t like being called out on national TV. But that is just our opinion.

Will this be the second black female co-host Sharon gets fired from the Talk? We heard what happened to Holly Robinson Peete.
