Texas A&M WR Ricky Seals-Jones Arrested

Over the weekend, Texas A&M wide receiver Ricky Seals-Jones was arrested early Sunday morning on charges of disorderly conduct.

This marks the second Texas A&M arrest in two weeks following the arrest of expected starting quarterback Kenny Hill on March 28 for public intoxication.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned via College Station reports that Seals-Jones was being “carried away by his friends” as the bars were closing in the 100 block of College Main.

According to police, An officer says he saw someone bump into Seals-Jones, which led to the wideout to reportedly start exchanging words with the person.

As the officer moved towards the scene to see and hear what was going on, he says Seals-Jones broke away from his friends and yelled “F*** you! You want some?”

We all know that is the last thing a baller needs to hear when he’s drunk and full of testosterone, because that means war. And of course the officer also says Seals-Jones motioned to the other person like he wanted to fight. The player was taken into custody.

Texas A&M spokesman Alan Cannon told KBTX that Seals-Jones would be placed on indefinite suspension, per department policy.

Seals-Jones caught three passes for 84 yards and one touchdown in two games in 2013 before his season was cut short due to a knee injury.  He is expected to become a key part of the Aggies’ passing game in 2014 as the program returns only one starting receiver.
