The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice Sues Bankruptcy Attorney, James Kridel, and blames him for her prison sentence.

Teresa has filed suit against Kridel for legal malpractice, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty, and he’s speaking out about the nonsense case.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is suing her bankruptcy lawyer for malpractice, claiming his “abysmal failure as an attorney” is the reason for her criminal conviction and incarceration.

A suit by Giudice against Clifton lawyer James Kridel was initially filed in New York late last year, but that has been discontinued and the onetime Montville resident filed her new suit this week in Superior Court in Morristown.

The 53-page complaint, filed for Giudice by New York attorney Carlos Cuevas, says Kridel’s representation of her in her bankruptcy case “cost Giudice her freedom.”

“In essence, plaintiff Giudice’s bankruptcy was the equivalent of a medical malpractice case involving several botched operations in which the patient died,” the suit charges.
