When it comes to Empire star Taraji P Henson, she is now speaking out stating that she NEVER believed the “clickbait reports” on Jussie Smollett.
While Jussie is receiving support from his Empire cast, The Chicago Corporation Counsel is NOT pleased with the case being dropped siting fame played a huge part in his charges being dropped. Chitown has a solution to make things right with them and that is that Smollett must pay for all the overtime paid out for the investigation.

CelebNMusic247.com reports that despite the support of Empire star of Taraji P Henson who NEVER believed the “clickbait reports,” Jussie Smollett has been ordered to pay $130K.
Jussie Smollett is being ordered to pay $130,000 to the City of Chicago in relation to allegations that he staged a hate crime on himself.
TMZ reports:
The Chicago Corporation Counsel, who handles civil claims for the City sent a letter to Jussie demanding he pays the $130,000, to compensate for the overtime pay for police who investigated his case.
The City is demanding “immediate payment” within seven days, and if the 36-year-old actor doesn’t hand over the cash, the Corporation Counsel vows to “prosecute you for making a false statement under the Municipal Code of Chicago.”
Meanwhile, Taraji P Henson who stars as Cookie Lyon on Empire had this to say about her TV son Jussie Smollett.
Henson explains:
When I know someone, there’s nothing you can say to make me flip on them, and that’s what we miss in this world.
She adds:
We need people that stand by us. Whatever happened to that? Why are we so easy to believe strangers over people we know?
Taraji states:
I’m not going to jump on clickbait just because someone says something derogatory about a person I know and love. I’m not easily swayed like that. Those little clickbait [reports] weren’t enough to deter me from his immaculate track record. I know the type of activism this young man does in his community, I know that he’s a giver – he’s not an attention-seeker.
