Early Friday morning (Aug 30) Khloe Kardashian‘s husband Lamar Odom was arrested by Van Nuys Police on suspicion of DUI.
After a spending the early morning hours in jail Lamar Odom was released by the Van Nuys Police Department and is back reportedly home, where ever that may be at this time.
O the tangled web one makes when on the decline, maybe Lamar, Amanda Bynes and Chris Brown should have a pow wow and talk things out?
Here’s how it went down, according to Highway Patrol Sergeant Denise Joslin:
Lamar Odom was pulled over by on Highway 101 in Sherman Oaks around 3:30 a.m. He wasn’t speeding, rather Joslin say it was how slowly he was driving (50 mph) that initially raised their suspicions. Odom did not respond to officers and drove another three exits before coming to a stop.
It was then that we’re told Odom failed several field sobriety tests and was arrested. He refused to take a breathalyzer test.
The arrest tops off a difficult week for the basketball star, who was reported to have been missing on Sunday. Though his reps insisted he was “fine,” he was not seen until Wednesday, when he was photographed at a Taco Bell in the San Fernando Valley. It was recently revealed that the L.A. Clippers don’t plan to re-sign Odom for the upcoming season. Several outlets have also speculated that Odom has a drug problem, which is to blame for his strange behavior of late and that wife Khloe Kardashian recently tried to stage an intervention for him. Jezebel even went so far as to speculate that, hindsight being 20/20, there have been signs all along:
Odom’s reported addiction to cocaine (NOT crack) suddenly puts the last few years into a completely different perspective. especially with the continued creeping, the speculated 33 women he’s slept with and the one that recently has been trying to cash in on Lamar allegedly stalking him, Kris Jenner allegedly putting a hit on her and allegedly trying to have a child with Lamar, because allegedly Khloe can’t. Not only has ALL that been an issue with the Kardashian klan which Lamar was included on the $40 million deal the family made with E! But Odom has mostly been absent, and when he does show up on camera, he’s noticeably not mic’ed. Even their spin-off Khloe & Lamar was “put on hold” — with a rep stressing that it was on indefinite hiatus but not cancelled, in 2012 despite its first two seasons landing high ratings of successes.
