Eminem Confirms Spike Lee to Direct Headlights
Eminem’s “Headlights” track where Shady shocking had some less than desirable things to say about his dear mother will be placed in the hands of director Spike Lee.
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that it only makes sense that Em‘s camp would promote “Headlights” to the world the way it deserves, and so, it was recently released as the fifth single from his eighth studio album.
The popular single has gone on to peak at No. 10 on Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs chart and at No. 20 on the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Eminem posts on social media, writing:
“Spike came out to The D for the “Headlights” video… Coming soon.”
Em made clear that the visuals should be “coming soon.” Though the pair have yet to work together in such a capacity, Spike’s music video pedigree comes equipped with credits on videos for Prince, Grandmaster Flash, and Public Enemy, and he’s the ideal candidate to bring Em’s emotional, extremely important new single to life.
