CelebnMusic247.com reports that the West Coast rapper took to Instagram to reveal that he “crashed in the rain,” while showing off the damages to his vehicle.
Snoop says in the Insta-video and issued a warning to other drivers in the area:
I done ripped the whole fucking rim off my tire cuz! Y’all b careful on them.
The post garnered comments from the likes of Anderson. Paak, Slim Thug, Desiigner, and DJ Clue, who empathized with Snoop’s frustration, but it wasn’t long before the rapper was back in business.
The rapper’s recent accident comes on the heels of some much greater news. Snoop will be joining Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem in Feb. 13 for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
He announced that he’s working on his 19th studio album, Algorithm, which will feature “a lot of big-name acts” as well as a project for kids, and recently disclosed his plans for Def Jam as their newest executive creative and strategic consultant.
Snoop said in an interview with Jimmy Fallon:
I wanted to go over there and give a lot of opportunities to the artists over there to get some information, some wisdom and some guidance from me and then also develop some new acts and give some opportunity…I’m over there for one reason: to get the music back poppin’ and to make the people feel like they’re supposed to feel.
Further details about Snoop’s car crash were not disclosed.
