Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star and rapper Lil Scrappy has an addiction to weed and today he has officially checked into rehab to kick the habit!
Despite Scrappy’s apology to Erica Dixon and his regrets for doing a public proposal, he was spotted with Buckey Shay Johnson over the Memorial Day weekend popping bottles. Which leads us to tell you a little bit of what been going on with the Prince of the South according to only Mama Dee.
Scrappy is officially in rehab, but he was forced to go the rehab route after he violated his probation by failing his most recent urine test, and in order to avoid more jail time, he struck a deal that required him to overcome his “weed addiction.”
And for the record, Scrappy decided to set the record straight to Atlanta reporters Wednesday, and it’s been confirmed that he checked into rehab Wednesday afternoon. Lil Scrappy will be at the rehab center for reportedly 30 days.
He muscled stud of LHHA reporters prior to check in, via My Fox Atlanta:
“I’m not just trying to cure the feeling for right now. It could put me in longer-term trouble in my life. There’s no good in it. The only good I get out of it is the feeling for the time being. After that, it’s trouble right after that.”
“I don’t blame the judicial system for me being in my situation. I’ve put all fingers on myself. I have a will power that God blessed me with, but I wasn’t able to use it because of my addiction.”
