Now, Saweetie is speaking out for the first time, addressing the violent elevator video featuring her and her then-boyfriend, Quavo.

Saweetie speaks on the elevator altercation that showed her lying on the elevator floor, then limping out to go back to her apartment.

She told TMZ:

This unfortunate incident happened a year ago, while we have reconciled since then and moved past this particular disagreement, there were simply too many other hurdles to overcome in our relationship and we have both since moved on.

Earlier this week, footage from Saweetie North Hollywood apartment complex elevator showed the former couple struggling over a video game console.

The hip-hop couple was fighting over what appeared to be an orange Call of Duty case.

The whole thing looked childish and foolish, but most arguments are over superficial things but the truth runs deeper than the surface fight.

In the video, you can see that Quavo realized he was caught on camera, so it was only a matter of time before this footage would make its way to the media and EXPOSE his abusive behavior.
