Find out more details on Glass The Tramp, “The Savior Of the West Coast”…
Now, when you think funk/pop/R&B one name comes to mind representing the West and that is Glass The Tramp.
Glass The Tramp is an innovator, a singer, a Fashionista and a new-found pioneer representing the West Coast like Game and Miguel.
Glass holds down the funk nation corner of music today with his debut album the “Sticky Wicked Playground,” which is already being called a funk/rock/R&B classic.
Let us be the first to tell you the album is banging! From beginning to end, Glass The Tramp takes fans on wild ride into his rock star world filled with colorful imagery, stylish lyrics and mesmerizing, yet pulsating beats. Like Prince’s Purple Rain, Glass tells a story and from beginning to the end you get high by his lyric and drunk by his skills. Glass worked with hip hop veteran producer and pioneer genius Young Trey, who made that distinctive Cali sound first heard on Dr. Dre, WC, Ice Cube, Nate Dogg and many more rappers of the 90s.
It was a bizarre twist of fate that placed Glass The Tramp in front of Young Trey. The two hit it off and before you knew it they began working together. Glass would write the lyrics and the music and then Trey would come in and fuse the old West Coast sound. Tramp’s vivacious style has women and men stopping in their tracks. Glass aka The Tramp knows how to captivate an audience and keep them bouncing. Just like his predecessors, he takes his hat off to welcome the critical praise of his album titled the “Sticky Wicked Playground.”
With fame knocking on his door, Glass has earned his King title for funk music. Game is holding the hip hop scene down representing Compton and LA rappers, while Miguel has R&B on lock with his charismatic ways and soulful sounds. But nothing can go unnoticed because when there is a king there is always a queen like Kanary Diamonds.
