CelebnMusic247.com reports that Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar is also speaking out about Joss Whedon’s abuse allegations.
Just hours after Buffy Star Charisma Carpenter went public about the abuse she endured during her days working with director Joss Whedon on Buffy and Angel.
Sarah Michelle Gellar who is keeping her distance from the accusations made against Whedon took to social media to speak on the matter at hand.
Michelle Gellar took to her social feeds, writing:
While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’ want to be forever associated with the name, Joss Whedon.
She adds:
I am more focused on raising my family and surviving a pandemic currently, so I will not be making any further statements at this time.
Sarah makes it clear that she supports her fellow co-stars from the Buffy The Vampire Slayer series.
She writes:
But I stand with all survivors of abuse and am proud of them for speaking out.
