Rupaul’s Drag Race 6 Recap Laganja Cracks
Tonight on part 2 on the Ru-licious double episode of Rupaul’s Drag Race season 6 the queens faced to become the Drag Queens of Comedy.
First the queens are faced with a chin challenge. They must lipsink with their chins in drag. Joslyn Fox ends up winning the challenge and lands her opportunity to get back and Courtney Act.
Joslyn Fox get to make up the lineup for the queens to hit the stage for the Drag Queens of Comedy competition. The final 8 are faced to get their comedic skills together and write a a 1 minute comedy routine.
After dissing her wardrobe, Josyln puts Courtney in the one place she doesn’t want to be and that is in second place behind Darienne Lake.
Darienne Lake is up first and kills it.
Courtney Act relies on her singing and skims by.
BenDeLaCreme has intellegent comedy but no comedic skill – and one man even heckled her off the stage
Trinity comes with it again and shines with comedic genius bringing back the audience after LaCreme almost had them walk out.
Adore hit too hard with her Latinohumor dropping F bombs left and right, she was funny, but could have landed a strong hole with a little fine tuning.
Laganja Estranja was humorless with some off set stoner comedy wearing a afro that looks like cotton candy dressed in a tutu which makes her look like a carnival reject with no direction. Flatline…Cricketts!
Joslyn Fox starts off funny with an ADD joke and then bombs
Bianca Del Rio is the golden ticket, making the audience begging for more. She assassinated it.
When being critiqued by Ru, Michelle and Santiago, Adore has a break down, Laganja can’t take the criticism while Ru has a heart to heart with Trinity. Ru tells Adore that she is trying to help ALL the queens reach star level and rise above the club level performances.
Later during Untucked, Bianca goes in on Laganja for faking the funk after she apologized a few weeks back in the Silver room when Laganja had a breakdown. Bianca made a joke and Laganja Estranja felt she took her moment away. B called her out on always resting on escuses and that is when her friend Adore Delano ripped into her. Adore breaks it down for Laganja telling her she is always fierce, but during the whole competition she has been acting like someone else. Nobody likes her fake voice and hates how she is constantly make jokes hiding behind he “OOOOK’s” and more.
Laganja litterally looses it and breaks into tears cracking under pressure and asking to leave. She is done and wants off RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Bianca Del Rio is the Challenge Winner for the Drag Queens of Comedy challenge. She ended up taking home a Custom gown from Marco Marco
At the end of the episode, Laganja and Joslyn Fox were forced to lipsink for their lives to Stupid Girls by P!nk.
Unfortunately Laganja Estranja is asked to sashay away because Joslyn kept it foxy.
