(CelebNmusic247) Romney’s Makes Inaccurate Statement About Americans Being “Dependent Upon Government”
Romney may not be backing down after a private video leaked online showing the hopeful presidential candidate in a less than flattering light.
It has been reported that Mitt Romney took liberties of his own and made a poor assessment of Americans, saying almost half of Americans as “people who pay no income tax” and are “dependent upon government.”
CNM247 find this interesting that he would even make a statement since he hasn’t paid taxes for the past two years himself.
Romney has been on a mission to slam Obama at every step and with his most recent comment, it show another look at whats in store for voters come election time with the Republican candidate.
Romney goes on to say 47% of voters support President Obama because they believe they are “victims” who are “entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.”
Mitt Romney is so off target with the statement its ridiculous. It’s almost insulting to hear what he had to say. However, Romney has acknowledged having made the blunt political and cultural assessment, saying it was “not elegantly stated,” but he stood by the substance of the remarks, insisting that he had made similar observations in public without generating controversy.
The statements on the video of Mr. Romney, the Republican presidential candidate, was made in May, offering a rare glimpse of his personal views, which are rather slighted. It shows that Romney is NOT a man of the people and that he is for the rich. Anyone who doesn’t see that is blind.
Romney has continually been a controversial one since Romney continues to back step to do damage control caused by Romney himself.
So let me ask you, is this the man you’d want representing the USA?
He’s for the rich, he feels all Americans feel they are “entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it” and continues to slam President Obama.
What’s even more pathetic is Romney told reporters that he had been “speaking off the cuff in response to a question” at the fund-raiser, and said he wanted “to help all Americans — all Americans — have a bright, prosperous future.”
Since the leaked video, Democrats quickly condemned the remarks as insensitive, and Mr. Obama’s campaign accused Mr. Romney of having “disdainfully written off half the nation.”
Also Romney knows he can’t away the 47% of voter that are for Obama, so he’s going after the 10% of liberals and undeclared voters, hoping to sway their decision. He made it clear in the video that he will say what he needs to make voters lean towards a Republican in office. Just remember every time we have had a Republican in office our country has gone in the toilet. We have increased our deficit and ruined our foreign affairs.
The only time our government has been respected by the world is when a Democrat has been in office and thanks to Democratic Presidents like our former President Clinton has our country flourished. The Bush administration, which should have been Gore, demolished out foreign affair policies and put us in the red. Just saying!
How is that Mitt Romney is claiming Mexican roots now, when the whole time he’s been in politics he has never once stood up for hispanic rights or told the public that he was about his heritage.
Personally, this is a poor attempt to sway the Latino voters towards Romney. Its deceitful of him, since he always presents himself as an American and has never embraced his hispanic roots. Mitt Romney was eventually born in Michigan and for the record his family. Romney’s family is still living in Mexico, but they hope that Mitt will be more open about the issue of his religion and Mexican heritage during the campaign. So far Romney has NOT proven that wish of his family and continues to be staying on the white track of things for the rich or shall we say anyone who make 7 figures or more a year.
Note: The Romney family is proud of their history, despite the fact that Mitt Romney has NEVER come to visit.
