Remy Ma Ends Beef with Fat Joe

Remy Ma and Fat Joe have been in a long running beef since she went to prison back in 2008, but in a new interview she says that’s all behind them now.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Remy revealed to Billboard that she wants a fresh start when she comes home this summer.

Remy told Billboard in a recent interview from behind bars:

“I just recently spoke to him and we had a wonderful conversation.”

“It started off a little awkward. We’re both like, ‘Just say what you want to say.’ We were both holding on to our egos. ‘Well, what do you want to say?’ ‘No, what do you want to say?’ We finally let it go.”

She said:

“He said, ‘I still think you’re the dopest female rapper ever.'”

“I’m like, ‘Really?!’ When you put egos and pride aside, and be the real people that you are it works out… I told him that when I do go home, I’m going to make it my business that we talk more.”

On their past success, Remy explains:

“Sometimes, when you have hit records out, you let that control your actions and affect your relationships.”

However, back in 2010, Joe reflected on the state of their relationship on RapFix Live.

Fat told MTV News:

“I don’t communicate with her; I wish her the best.”

“The fallout we had was ugly.”

“I’m sure when she gets out she’ll be spittin’ fire, ’cause she’s the nicest female girl in the game.”

Remy sounds eager to prove him right.
