In addition to rapper YG’s views, Assistant District Attorney Sara Weiss says that Tekashi’s recent arrests are a violation of his plea agreement.
Weiss points out:
He has violated his plea agreement. The defendant should be sentenced to a state prison sentence of one to three years.
The prosecutor also points out that Tekashi’s gang affiliation could also land him in jail stating:
Hernandez has had over two years to demonstrate to this Court that the role he played in the sexual exploitation of a thirteen-year-old child was an aberration in an otherwise lawful life. He has failed to do so. Defendant’s new assault charges, his self-proclaimed status as a member of the 9 Trey Bloods, and his conduct related to that gang, seriously compromise his prospects for rehabilitation.
