R. Kelly Latin King Gang Attacker Sentenced To Life In Prison!

Well, it appears that R&B singer R. Kelly can sleep soundly in his prison cell since the man who attacked him just got sentenced to life. Read on for details on R. Kelly Inmate Attacker, Jeremiah Shane Farmer…

CelebnMusic247.com reports that the Latin King Gang member who attacked R. Kelly behind bars will be spending the rest of his life there.

We previously reported on the incident when Kellz was the victim of a physical attack at the hands of a Latin King Gang member and fellow inmate, Jeremiah Shane Farmer, 39.

The crazy thing about his life sentence has NOTHING to do with his attack on R. Kelly.

Nope, Farmer has now been sentenced to life in prison for taking part in a racketeering plan that left two elderly people murdered back in 1999, according to The Chicago Sun-Times.

The paper reports, a judge sided with prosecutors who urged for Farmer to be sentenced to life in prison, stating that he shot a woman after she continued to sell drugs in a certain area.

Meanwhile, R. Kelly still resides in prison since his request for bail has been denied multiple times. He is currently awaiting his own trial for child pornography and other charges, attempted to use the attack as a reason he should get released.

After Jeremiah Shane Farmer attacked Kellz he was relocated to a different prison, meaning he no longer posed a threat against R. Kelly, according to a judge.

Most recently, his lawyer Michael Leonard argued that no one tried to prevent R. Kelly from getting attacked.

He said:

The attacker roamed a great distance within the MCC before carrying out that act, without any opposition. It is undisputed that, as a result, Mr. Kelly has suffered significant physical and psychological injuries.

He continued:

An unresolved issue remains as to whether MCC personnel encouraged, and then allowed, a beating of Mr. Kelly to take place. That alone merits an evidentiary hearing.

If you ask Kellz other lawyer, Steve Greenberg, he teased that “big changes” were on the horizon for R. Kelly.
