R. Kelly Appeal For Bail Denied Again!

CelebnMusic247.com reports that R. Kelly’s lawyers tried to appeal his prior bail denials by detailing his recent jailhouse beating.

They said the staff did not “lift a finger” until the very end of R. Kelly’s beatdown.

US District Judge Harry Leinenweber was not persuaded and denied the request by R. Kelly and his team.

Leinenweber wrote, according to Page Six:

While this incident is concerning, it does not warrant an immediate release. This single isolated incident does not suggest that the Bureau of Prisons is incapable of safely housing Mr. Kelly.

The inmate who beat Kelly has since been transferred from the facility.

Leinenweber added:

In any event, release from custody is not the appropriate remedy for such a wrong,” the judge said. “If Mr. Kelly wishes to challenge the conditions of his confinement or the MCC’s ability to protect him, he can bring those claims in a separate civil action following proper exhaustion of administrative remedies.

He most likely will.

It appears that Kellz and his team will continue to try to get him out of prison but it doesn’t seem like it will ever happen.
