(CelebNMusic247-News) Primus Astonishes Fans at Bottle Rock
The El Sobrante, native trio Primus rocked Bottle Rock Napa on day 2 of the Bottle Rock Festival!
The trio which is currently composed of bassist/vocalist Les Claypool, guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde and drummer Jay Lane took to the Citi Stage on May 9 and ignited mosh pits and crazed fans go completely ballistic as they enjoyed the groups intensive bass strumming music that makes you feel alive.
Primus exploded on the music scene with their debut album, Suck on This in 1989, and followed it by stellar albums Frizzle Fry, Sailing the Seas of Cheese, Pork Soda, and Tales from the Punchbowl giving fans their electrified funk metal and experimental alternative rock music.
As always frontman and bassist Les Claypool kept fans glued to the stage as he sang hits like “My Name is Mud,” “Jerry was a Racecar driver.”
I have been a fan of Primus since the 80s and seeing them again on stage was pure delight as they’re still going strong with music and touring. If you’ve never seen Primus we highly recommend it!
