Point Break Reboot SLAMMED By Original Star!!!
The Keanu Reeves and the late Patrick Swayze film Point Break gets a reboot, but Point Break Reboot SLAMMED By Original Star Lori Petty.
Petty played the love interest in the 1991 original Point Break, which is one of the best thrill seeking films to date.
Of course Hollywood had to remake the film and go extreme with it, but if you ask Lori Petty about The Point Break reboot, she said, now “That’s some stupid sh*t right there”.
She told The Hollywood Reporter that she wasn’t impressed with the thriller’s remake.

“I think it’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Petty continued:
“Somebody tweeted this really cute picture of me [from the film], and it said, ‘What’s this pig board piece of sh*t?’ which is what I say to Keanu, but it was about the new movie. I’m like, ‘Seconded’.
“I got a phone call from my manager: ‘Why did you diss the new Point Break?’ Because that’s bullsh*t! That’s some stupid sh*t right there!”
Petty also said that she still hasn’t watched the trailer for the reboot, saying:
“No, I can’t do it.”
In the original, Reeves played an undercover agent named Johhny Utah and Swayze as Bodhi. the remake, however, has Luke Bracey (The November Man, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) as Johnny Utah and Édgar Ramírez (The Counselor, Zero Dark Thirty, Wrath of the Titans) as Bodhi.
Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies, I Am Number Four, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice) takes of Petty’s role as the love interest, but this time instead of her name being Tyler, its Samsara.
